Nikon Prostaff 5 10x42 Binoculars

The multi-coated lenses made a huge difference in clarity when I was scanning for birds at dusk. Seeing feather detail that just disappeared with my old pair was impressive.

Finally got to test these on a foggy morning and the fogproofing worked exactly as promised. The multilayer-coated lenses really do pull in a surprising amount of light even in dim conditions.

Took these out for a rainy hike and they stayed completely clear inside, no fogging at all. The long eye relief really helps when I'm wearing glasses—I can see the full field of view clearly. Solidly built and the image snaps into focus quickly.
