PM Universal 58mm Lens Hood

The petal shape on this hood is genius for cutting out stray light without vignetting. Snaps on tight and feels much less bulky than my old rectangular one.

I got this for a wide-angle zoom and the petal design does a decent job keeping flare out of my shots. It fits securely without loosening, though the metal threading feels slightly stiff when I first screw it on.

This petal-shaped hood screws on smoothly and blocks out stray light effectively, even when using my wide-angle zoom. The only minor gripe is that the included cap fits a bit more snugly than I’d like, but it’s a small trade-off for the glare reduction.
