Joby Ballhead 5K - Black/Red

The lock knob has a textured grip that makes adjustments easy even with cold fingers. It holds my mirrorless camera steady on uneven ground, and the tension control is just right. Very happy with how solid the connection feels.

The quick-release plate is a lifesaver when I’m swapping between my camera and phone mid-hike, and the ballhead’s tension stays exactly where I set it. Feels sturdy enough to trust with my heavier lens, no wobble once I tighten the knob.

This ballhead locks up rock solid with my mirrorless and telephoto combo, and the separate friction control is a lifesaver for quick adjustments. The red accents make it easy to spot in my bag, and the build feels reassuringly sturdy.
