عدسة FujiFilm XF500mm f/5.6R LM OIS WR

I was worried this lens would be a beast to carry around, but the weight savings over other telephoto options are real. The OIS is rock solid even when I'm shooting handheld at a soccer match.

Handheld shots of deer at dawn came out tack-sharp—the optical stabilization is witchcraft. Weighs less than my old 150-600, so I actually carried it up a ridge instead of leaving it in the car.

I've been lugging heavy telephoto lenses for years, so the lightness of this 500mm was a huge relief on a recent hiking trip. The autofocus is snappy enough to track a kingfisher in flight, which makes shooting birds actually fun again.
