Sony E PZ 18-200mm F3.5-6.3 OSS

The powered zoom is so smooth for video work, I can pull off slow, cinematic push-ins without any jerkiness. Paired with the OSS, walking shots come out way cleaner than I expected from a lens this range.

The Active Mode image stabilisation is a lifesaver when I'm filming walking shots—it smooths out the bounce way better than I expected. Powered zoom lets me get smooth transitions without any jerky manual adjustments.

The powered zoom is the main reason I grabbed this for shooting events—it’s smooth enough that I don’t need a rig, and the Active Mode really does cut down the wobble when I’m walking. It’s a bit bulky for a casual carry, but for the range and stabilization, I’m happy with the trade-off.
