Datacolor Colorreader Pro

Finally, a color reader that actually works reliably with my monitor calibration workflow; the ability to save custom palettes directly in the app is a huge timesaver. It picks up even subtle shade variations that my old manual method would miss.

I've been using this for wall paint matching and it nails the color in seconds even on tricky pastels. The app integration makes it super easy to save and organize my palettes for different projects.

I paint miniatures and was skeptical about a device matching colors to my monitor, but capturing a color with the standalone capture and instantly seeing it on screen saved me so much trial and error.
