Canon EW83J Lens Hood

This hood fits my 17-55 perfectly and snaps on with a satisfying, solid click that feels much sturdier than the plastic ones I've used before. I've noticed a real reduction in flare when shooting into the sun at wide apertures.

Finally, a hood that actually clicks into place with a satisfying snap and doesn't wobble. It perfectly blocks out side light on my 17-55, and the build quality matches the lens it's designed for.

I was worried the hood would feel flimsy, but it locks onto my 17-55mm lens with a satisfying click and blocks side light perfectly. My outdoor portraits have noticeably less lens flare now.
