Canon EW83F Lens Hood

Snaps on perfectly to my 24-70mm and blocks flare much more effectively than the cheap knockoff I was using. The matte finish inside really does cut down on those stray light reflections.

Finally got this for my 24-70mm and it's cut down on lens flare significantly in bright sun. The petal shape blocks light exactly where it should without showing up in the frame. For the price it feels solid enough to stay on the lens full time.

Put this on my 24-70mm f/2.8L and the difference in contrast on sunny days is immediately noticeable. It snaps on securely and doesn't add much bulk to the lens setup.
