Canon EW78D Lens Hood

Wasn't sure if the petal design would make a difference, but my shots against bright windows are finally free of that washed-out haze. Snaps onto the 28-200 lens perfectly with zero play, and the matte finish inside does its job cutting reflections. Exactly what I needed for outdoor shooting.

I was a little worried this hood would feel flimsy, but the bayonet mount is surprisingly sturdy and clicks on perfectly. It fits my 28-200mm lens like a glove and has virtually eliminated lens flare in my backlit shots. Exactly what I needed for outdoor portraits.

Finally a hood that actually blocks the side-light without vignetting at 28mm. Snaps on and off my 28-200 cleanly, and the stray light is gone from my shots.
