Canon EW77B Lens Hood

The bayonet mount clicks on perfectly tight, and it cuts glare way better than I expected for such a compact hood. Already saved my front element from a bump when I was shooting in a crowded market.

I was worried about scratching the front of my 35mm, but this hood clicks on securely and gives me peace of mind. It cuts out the side light nicely without making the lens any bulkier than necessary.

Flare and ghosting were driving me nuts shooting into the sun with my 35mm, but this hood kills all that stray light dead. It also feels like a solid piece of armor for the front element, which is a nice bonus.
