Canon ES71II Lens Hood

Took it out for a portrait session in harsh afternoon sun, and this hood killed all the lens flare I used to struggle with. It clips on smoothly and doesn’t budge, even in a shoulder bag. Definitely worth grabbing for the 50mm.

Snapped this onto my 50mm f/1.4 and immediately noticed a huge difference shooting into the sun—no more washed-out flare ruining shots. The bayonet mount clicks on securely with zero wobble, which is exactly what I wanted.

Finally, no more flare ruining my f/1.4 shots at golden hour. This hood is lightweight but feels sturdy enough to take a bump in my bag.
